Product Description

Butyl Glycol (2-Butoxyethanol, CAS 111-76-2) is a colorless transparent liquid with a mild ether-like odor. It is highly miscible with water and many organic solvents and exhibits excellent solvency properties. It is widely used as a solvent in coatings, paints, cleaners, inks, adhesives, and manufacturing intermediates. Butyl Glycol improves film formation and drying times in paints and coatings.
