Product Description

Sodium Silicate, also known as water glass, is a soluble compound of sodium oxide and silica with formula Na2SiO3. It appears as a colorless to slightly yellowish viscous liquid with alkaline pH 11-13. It is widely used for its adhesive, binding, and corrosion inhibiting properties in detergents, water treatment, paper manufacturing, mining flotation, ceramics, and construction. Zenco Chemicals supplies this product reliably throughout East Africa including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. Proper handling and storage in sealed containers away from acids are essential to maintain product stability.
