Product Description
Citric Acid supplied by Zenco Systems Ltd is an anhydrous organic acid widely used across East Africa. The chemical compound is known by the formula C6H8O7 and has CAS number 77-92-9. Citric Acid appears as a white crystalline powder or granule with a sour taste and excellent water solubility. It has a pH around 2.2 in solution, making it effective as a natural acidulant and preservative. It is popular in the food and beverage industry for flavor enhancement and shelf life extension; in cosmetics as a pH adjuster and chelating agent; in detergents to improve cleaning efficiency; and in pharmaceuticals, water treatment, and various manufacturing processes.
