Product Description
N-Hexane is a clear, colorless liquid commonly used as an industrial solvent. With the chemical formula C6H14 and CAS number 110-54-3, it belongs to the alkane hydrocarbon family. N-Hexane is a non-polar, highly volatile solvent with a boiling point of approximately 69°C and insoluble in water but highly soluble in organic solvents. It is widely used in oil extraction, degreasing, pharmaceutical solvent applications, adhesive manufacturing, and cleaning in manufacturing processes across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and East Africa.
