Diethylene Glycol is a colorless, odorless, and hygroscopic liquid widely used in East African industrial applications. Its chemical identity is C4H10O3 with CAS Number 111-46-6. This solvent is miscible with water and many organic solvents, serving as a raw material for manufacturing resins, plasticizers, brake fluids, cosmetics, detergents, antifreeze, and hydraulic fluids.
