Product Description

Ammonium Bicarbonate is a white crystalline chemical widely used in food processing and industrial applications. Chemically known as ammonium hydrogen carbonate (NH4HCO3), it dissolves readily in water and decomposes to release carbon dioxide when heated, making it an effective leavening agent in baking. It also finds use in fire extinguishing powders, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, and industrial buffering. Zenco Chemicals supplies high purity ammonium bicarbonate in 25kg and 50kg bags throughout East Africa, ensuring consistent quality, reliable delivery, and compliance with regulatory standards. Safe handling requires use of gloves and adequate ventilation due to its mild ammonia odor. Proper storage in cool, dry conditions extends shelf life to approximately one year. This product supports key industrial sectors across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and neighboring countries.
