Product Description

Acetone is a colorless, volatile, and flammable liquid solvent widely used in East African industries. Its chemical formula is C3H6O, IUPAC name propan-2-one, and CAS number 67-64-1. It features a pungent odor, is highly miscible with water and many organic solvents, and evaporates rapidly due to its low boiling point of 56°C. Commonly used as a solvent in manufacturing, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory applications, acetone also serves as a cleaning and degreasing agent and is involved in the production of plastics, fibers, and paints. Zenco Chemicals ensures reliable supply, quality assurance, and comprehensive coverage across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and neighboring East African countries.
